About starquestry
Trained on real desks, ready for real broadcasts
starquestry is a UK training provider built for people who want to work in live television and streaming production. We teach multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation and control room management in working studio environments, taught by people who direct live broadcasts for a living.
How we started
starquestry began when a group of working vision mixers and studio directors noticed the same gap again and again: talented people entering broadcast production with plenty of enthusiasm but no hands-on time on a real switcher. We built a course around the desk, not the textbook.
Who we train
Our students range from broadcast graduates and camera operators moving into the gallery, to production assistants and streaming producers who need to run a control room with confidence. Studios and outside broadcast teams also send existing crew for refresher training.
How we teach
Every module combines short theory sessions with long practical time behind a real vision mixer, multiviewer wall and talkback system, so what you learn transfers directly to a working broadcast gallery from day one.
